Dear Fans of St. Veronicas Youth Steel Orchestra,

Pan in the Community, Inc., a 501 (C) (3) non-profit tax exempt organization has been actively changing and enhancing the lives of youth in the community for the past 11 years. The positive influence of the St. Veronica’s Youth Steel Orchestra in particular has inspired our next generation to aspire for greatness and perform with excellence.  The dedication of our youth and community outreach has sealed the significance of the program and caused the members of the board to find innovative ways to cut costs to maximize our budget. We are currently faced with a major obstacle that is threatening the survival of the program. Transportation of the children and their equipment to and from performances has become extremely costly as we are forced to rent vehicles to move between locations.

The organization is in desperate need of a cargo truck. It is essential that we secure a vehicle that can adequately transport the steel drums used for various performances throughout the state. At this time, ownership is more convenient and cost effective than high-priced rentals.  As we cling to hope and determination in our time of need, we are seeking your help in the form of a donation. Your contribution can help us to reach our goal. Our plan is to raise $10,000 for the purpose of purchasing a cargo truck. By contributing you would have the option to receive a free performance that can be scheduled for an upcoming event (a donation of $500 and above) or a CD and DVD (donations of $100 to $400).  As with most monetary contributions, documentation will be available for tax purposes.
